Light4Education is a non-profit organization that seeks to help vulnerable communities through the implementation of the 4Es. The 4Es are our lines of focus which have to do with energy, economy, environment and education..
Energy:
We implement energy solutions related to the energy transition through the use of renewable resources. We have carried out projects focused on solar energy but we want to expand our portfolio with wind energy solutions, biomass and new technologies.
Environment:
In the face of climate change adversities, we offer adaptation strategies. Encouraging sustainability when carrying out productive processes such as agro-industrial activities. Applying the 3Rs initiative (reduce, recycle and reuse) for the management of waste generated during the activities carried out at the communities.
Education:
We promote knowledge and empowerment in the communities we help. We train the population in environmental issues, technology and innovation, environmental care, sustainability, circular economy and environmental health.
Economy:
We propose a value chain that complies with the standards and characteristics of a Circular Economy as an incentive for the population to adopt sustainable practices over time. Additional tools to boost the local economy and improve these sustainable skills are the concepts of Blue Economy and the Economy of the Common Good.
